Discover the Magic Mountains Through Walking Experiences This April
Março 24, 2026This August, summer in the Valley moves beyond the landscape.
Alongside quiet mornings, forest paths and long evenings outdoors, the local calendar brings a sequence of cultural events that invite people to gather, listen, dance and experience a different side of the region.
The programme begins with Infante at Night, when Avenida Infante D. Henrique stays awake a little longer. Local shops remain open, people move through the street, and the centre of town takes on a warmer, more social rhythm.
Music then takes the lead with UXU Kalhus Live, joined by Banda Musical Flor da Mocidade Junqueirense. The concert brings together contemporary energy and Portuguese musical tradition, creating an evening shaped by rhythm, instruments and collective sound.
Later in the month, Generation Y returns to familiar songs and shared memories. It is a night built around the music of a generation — nostalgic, lively and made for dancing.
The programme also opens the Valley to a wider cultural exchange through Polish Folk Dance, featuring Mały Śląsk and the special participation of Grupo Etnográfico Terras de Cambra. Traditional costumes, music and movement come together in a performance that connects different places through heritage and dance.
These events offer another way to experience the Valley.
Not only through nature, walking trails and mountain landscapes, but through local life, music, tradition and the shared atmosphere of summer evenings.
For those staying at Coliving The VALLEY Portugal, the programme is an opportunity to slow down during the day and connect with the region after sunset — discovering how culture, community and place come together in the heart of the Magic Mountains.
Stay longer. Experience more.
